How to get started

KSU offers several programs of studies to meet the various ministerial callings. Students can obtain a degree, diploma or certificate in 1-3 years and there are personal study opportunities that can be are completed in short term! We offer 100% online courses that are facilitated or self-paced to accommodate any schedule. There are educational opportunities here at KSU for everyone.

Applicants for admission to degree programs are asked to have all documents (transcripts, diplomas, etc.) on file in the Admissions Office to expedite your acceptance into the university. Applicants with an incomplete file or application received after the deadline may choose to be processed for special admission status (facilitated course students only). Self-paced courses can be started year round and they are not governed by a registration schedule.

It is the mission of the university to assist students in achieving their personal and professional goals. It is the responsibility of the student to complete the requirements for admission.

Age
Applicants for admission must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.

Education
Educational requirements vary according to the program of study. A high school diploma or the equivalent (GED) is desirable but is not an entrance requirement for all programs. Applicants must have a high school diploma or the equivalent (GED) to enroll into a degree program.

 

Program Requirements

The basic requirement for admission to a KSU undergraduate certificate and diploma program is the passion to learn. Applicants must submit the following items:

  1. Submit the KSU Application for Admission
  2. Submit enrollment agreement, as applicable;
  3. Submit a valid, current, legible government-issued photo identification.
  4. Pay the one-time application fee
  5. Submit High School / GED Transcript or diploma (if applicable)
  6. Submit certificates, diplomas, or degree obtained from programs or colleges attended (if applicable)
  7. Submit Bio, Resume, and Photo
  8. Submit ministry reference (if applicable)
  9. Submit personal reference (if applicable)
  10. Submit your personal goal statement

The basic requirement for admission to a KSU Associate's and Bachelor's undergraduate degree is a high school diploma. Applicants must submit the following items:

  1. Submit the KSU Application for Admission
  2. Submit enrollment agreement, as applicable;
  3. Submit a valid, current, legible government-issued photo identification.
  4. Pay the one-time application fee
  5. Submit High School / GED Transcript or diploma
  6. Submit certificates, diplomas, or degree obtained from programs or colleges attended (if applicable)
  7. Submit Bio, Resume, and Photo
  8. Submit ministry reference (if applicable)
  9. Submit personal reference (if applicable)

The basic requirement for admission to a KSU Master's graduate degree is a Bachelor's degree and Doctoral Degree is a Master Degree. You can take our Master Program and matriculate to the Doctoral program upon completion. Applicants must submit the following items:

  3. Submit a valid, current, legible government-issued photo identification.
  4. Pay the one-time application fee
  5. Submit Bachelor or Master Degree
  6. Submit certificates, diplomas, or degree obtained from programs or colleges attended (if applicable)
  7. Submit Bio, Resume, and Photo
  8. Submit ministry reference (if applicable)
  9. Submit personal reference (if applicable)
  10. Submit your personal goal statement

Life Experience Credit is available to count toward anyone of our graduate programs. We understand that learning is extended beyond the classroom and you deserve credit for what you have achieved. KSU counts your knowledge gain outside of the classroom valuable. Upon submitting your life experience portfolio we will let you know how much of it count toward your degree. You could be just a course or research paper away from obtaining your next degree.
